How To Install Multicraft on Windows

Introduction

Multicraft is a Minecraft server management control panel used to manage your Minecraft server. In this tutorial, we are going to install Multicraft on Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 2003, 2008, 2012).

Prerequisites

  • A Windows VM with at least 1GB of RAM, Any more than that is strongly recommended.
  • Multicraft license. You may use a free license, but these licenses are limited by a lot of factors, such as server count and player slots.
  • A Windows license. This license is included when purchasing through Aklweb host.

Step 1 - Downloading and Installing Java

You need to download Java from the oracle website.

You will need to accept the "License Agreement" to download it. Choose to download either Windows (x86) or Windows (x64) depending on the architecture of your Windows installation.

Run the Java installation. When the Java setup is complete, continue to step 2.

Step 2 - Downloading and Installing Multicraft

Download Multicraft from the official website.

Extract the ZIP file to a directory of your choice. I used the desktop.

Go into the directory where you extracted the ZIP file. Run the batch file called start. This script will run the Nginx web server and the Multicraft daemon.

Step 3 - Accessing Multicraft

Navigate to your Multicraft server in a web browser.

http://YOUR.SERVERS.IP.ADDRESS/

The default username is admin and the default password is admin.

If you cannot reach the Multicraft instance, unblock port 80, 25465, and port 21 in Windows Firewall.

Conclusion

Congratulations, you have successfully installed Multicraft - Build away!
